Hello! I'm Pastor Don Sheen of Harvest By Faith Ministry and I would like to welcome you to our Facebook page and to the new web site. The purpose of this group is provide people with a way and means to connect with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
You see many folks have, for whatever reason, distanced themselves from church. It may be that you have to work every time the church door is open. Perhaps Sunday is your only day off from work and is therefore the only time you can rest or spend time with your family. Maybe, you are one of the many who have left the church because you are tired of or lost faith in “organized religion”. Maybe, you just want to connect with fellow believers.
We are a traditional, non-denominational, Bible based ministry with an emphasis on studying end times prophecy. It is a place where people can ask for prayers, offer up prayers, give testimonies, learn about God and His Bible and most of all fulfill His commandment to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”
This group is private so no one can see what is posted here unless they are in the group. The reason I set the security setting at "Private" is to protect our members. Anyone can add a new member pending approval by one of the page administrators.
Here is what we believe;
-The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
-There is one God, eternal and self-existing in three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) who are to be equally loved, honored and adored.
-All humanity participated in Adam’s fall from his original sinless state and is thus lost in sin and totally helpless.
-The Sovereign God, for no other reason than His own unfathomable love and mercy, has chosen lost sinners from every nation to be redeemed by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit and through the atoning death and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ.
-Those sinners whom the Spirit quickens, come to believe in Christ as Savior by the Word of God, are born again, become sons and daughters of God, and will persevere to the end.
-Justification is by faith and through it the undeserving sinner is clothed with the righteousness of Christ.
-At death the Christian’s soul passes immediately into the presence of God and the unbeliever’s soul is eternally separated from God unto condemnation.
-Jesus Christ will return to earth, visibly and bodily, at a time when He is not expected, to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
-The Gospel of God’s salvation in Jesus Christ must be published to all the world as a witness before Jesus Christ returns.
